here's another thing I find odd..
you go to Hungry Jacks / Burger King.. and they serve COKE and no PEPSI..
you go to KFC.. and they serve PEPSI but no COKE..
sure, it's a trivial thing..
but, wot the hell is going on here?
wot kinda weird secretive deal is going on behind the scenes here?
is it like the softdrink mafia?
are these fast food outlets buying protection? brand allegience?
wot happens if KFC all of a sudden serve COKE instead.. is the offendin' place torched to the ground?
it's funny they still do ads for COKE and PEPSI tho'..
considerin'.. the stuff is EVERYWHERE..
a few years back, COKE wuz actually considering buying a piece of the sky..
so they could legally float a perpetual "coke" sign in the sky 24/7..
I mean.. shit, why bother?
apparently.. a few years ago.. they did a comprehensive study of the most consumed liquids worldwide..
water was 1st..
coke came in 2nd..
milk actually came in 3rd..
more people globally drink COKE, than milk..
damn weird when ya think about it..
weird to think they'd still consider advertising it..
I mean, take cigarette's for example.. it's been illegal here to really advertise 'em.. for the last decade or so..
yet, still.. in petrol stations, falafel houses.. etc.. etc.. they advertise 'em..
and wot kinda campaign's do they run? well.. they know everyone who smokes it.. is helplessly addicted..
so, all they do now for advertising is to show a big honkin' image of a cigarette, with the message - "ENOUGH SAID"..
yup.. "enough said"..
when you're drinkin' COKE 2nd only to tap water..
why do they still fight over fast food allegience.
why do they still advertise it..
why do I rant about it?
dunno.. just find it curious is all.. ;)
